Welcome to the biohacker site! I am Dmitri, and while I am neither sinister nor skilled enough to be a real biohacker yet, I hope to become one someday. For now, I am a research scientist trying to understand how biomolecules work on surfaces - the goal that can also be described by buzzwords keywords such as biointerfaces, biosensors, and nanobiotechnology.
I have a Ph.D. in Physics, and I am working hard to learn enough Chemistry and Biochemistry to keep up with my current and future projects. In the process, I collect a lot of science and technology information from journals, conferences, and websites. Organizing all that information in searchable and cross-linked format is what the biohacker blog is all about.
